Boa Ply Comparison

Selecting the correct boa for your application is reasonably straight forward. Most boas are offered in a variety of natural, dyed or two tone colours as well as options for gold and silver lurex or burnt hackle accessories.

All boas are a full 72 inches (1.85 m) in length and are made in "plys." We start with reinforced braiding and carefully sew into the braiding a layer of feathers. To this we add further layers to the desired quantity ordered. Each layer of feathers is a "ply." The more "plys" you require, the more feathers are incorporated on the boa.
