All our Ostrich boas and fringe are a full 72 inches (1.85 m) in length and are made in "plys."
We start with a reinforced cotton braiding and carefully sew into this a layer of feathers. To this we add further layers to the desired quantity ordered. Each layer of feathers is a "ply." The more "plys" you require, the more feathers are incorporated on the boa or fringe and the more luxurious it is and the more expensive it is.
Please note that our Ostrich boas and fringe are 100% Ostrich feathers - there are no marabou or other inexpensive feathers in our pure Ostrich boas or fringe.
